?Hello Holiday Caravanners! Here, I re-visit Swift and their new and inspired offering – The S-Pod 6 and the S-Pod 6 Escape.

At Beaulieu, both my colleague Sarah and I loved this charming and ingenious living space; its flexible and versatile interior is intelligently designed to maximise space. It’s packed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We here at NACO are really focusing on our environmental impact and the S-Pod range offers the best of both worlds: ample accommodation as well as an efficient footprint.

The standard S-Pod 6, with vaulted ceiling and plenty of natural light via the glass aspects, measures in with a length of 6.44m, width 3.70m and height 4.18m. The brand-new Escape, with an integrated veranda that’s perfect for al fresco dining, evening drinks or simply enjoying the views, is slightly longer at  8.56m.

Inside, you will find a large, fixed, L-shaped sofa with foldout bed, scatter cushions and plenty of space with the under-sofa storage drawers. The kitchen boasts an integrated under-counter fridge,  microwave and 2-burner gas hob with extractor fan. There’s a new domestic-style sink bowl & drainer and under-counter bin. A very clever pull-out worktop extension, concealed within a drawer, is another fine example of maximising space.

Sarah and I couldn’t help ourselves but to try out the high-level double or twin beds. (To the two gentlemen who caught us giggling up there, in answer to your question, no, we don’t come with the unit!) we were also impressed with the wall-mounted pull-down double bed.

I can - hand on heart - say I would love to spend more time in this wonderful living space.

Thanks, Alex
