Holiday Home Review: The Carnaby Stamford Lodge

We love the layout and the look of Carnaby’s recently launched Stamford Lodge. We looked at the 39x13 model which gives lots of room but still squeezes on a single pitch. Whilst it’s nice to have some extra room everywhere it’s great to see plenty of room in the main bedroom - the Stamford Lodge boasts the largest master bedroom that Carnaby have ever made.

The galley style kitchen really helps with the flow inside the unit and you’ve got two options for dining – the more relaxed ‘breakfast bar’ or indeed the dining table. The kids will love having their breakfast on bar stools while you’re running around after them – and it’s nice to have something a bit more formal if you want it.

There’s lots of nice standard features in this model such as a built-in Bluetooth music system and lots of integrated appliances. The choices of finish on the exterior with the cladding and the windows are vast modern monochrome colours in the kitchen, lounge and diner make a nice change from creams and beige.

It’s got double glazing and central heating as standard but plump for the ‘ultra warm plus’ upgrade and you’ll push the “structural thermal rating” up to 9 – meaning you’ll be cosy and warm the whole year through.

The Stamford Lodge along with the rest of Carnaby’s latest range is well worth a look.
