Holiday Home Review: Swift Toronto Lodge

National Association of Caravan OwnersAs one of the newest members of the NACO team it was a pleasure to attend the caravan shows towards the end of last year. I must say the range of manufacturers and models is both astonishing and overwhelming in the best possible way!

Of all the units I tested in true ‘Goldilocks’ fashion, a unit that shone brightly for me was the Swift Toronto Lodge – This is far removed from the more traditional style caravan that is so well loved, but for me it had the true WOW factor.

An already impressive 42 x 20 x 3 bedroom unit, the Swift Toronto entry point left no doubt this would be the highlight for me. To the right, and in my mind the focal point was the ‘Helsinki’ wooden dining table with wrap-around corner seating and 3 dining chairs, complimented with a large U-shaped kitchen, shaker style doors, breakfast bar and 3 stools, it painted the picture of pure entertainment and sociability.

Nothing in this unit was overlooked, the lounge remained spacious and comfortable, the bedrooms and bathroom had the that ultimate luxury hotel feel, but it was the unique ‘bunk room’ featuring 3 crossover beds, with its clever use of space and storage that continued to impress and made this my first ‘favourite’ pick.

I look forward to joining the team at the shows again this year and spending more time enjoying these incredible pieces of manufacturing and design.
